Victor Theel

Missing From: Paynesville, Minnesota
Missing Since: September 5, 1944
Age: 86

Summary:

Victor "Jackie" Theel left his home in Paynesville, MN to attend his first day of school. He left school to walk home for lunch and hasn't been seen since. In a 2016 article about the case, it was pointed by the Stearns Police Department that the records from the case no longer existed.  The surviving siblings who still live in the area hope that Victor had a good life wherever he ended up. It is possible that he was picked up by a solider, but no solid proof ever came to light to prove this.  He would be in his 80s if he was still alive today.

Per news reports from the last 20 or so years, the police are no longer actively investigating this case since its more than 80 years old. Their is still some family alive that are continuing the search Jackie. Additionally over the years, their has been unconfirmed sightings of Jackie. From what I could gather from amateur research, its possible that he was picked up by a solider.
