Summary

On October 5, 2016, Wanda was last seen in Nashville, Tennessee, where she lived with her cousin on the 1400 block of 11th Avenue South. That morning, she was scheduled to report to her job at the Dollar Tree on Franklin Pike but encountered car trouble along the way. Her boyfriend came to her aid, meeting her by the roadside, where he added oil to her overheated vehicle and managed to get it running again. However, Wanda never arrived at work and has not been heard from since. On October 13, Wanda’s Nissan Maxima was discovered locked and abandoned in an alley near the 1000 block of Wade Avenue. Neighbors reported that the car had been there for about a week, yet no one had seen Wanda. Inside the vehicle, her purse was found, but there was no trace of her. Investigators uncovered signs of a struggle, leading them to suspect Wanda had been involved in a physical confrontation. Additionally, a flowering shrub known as privet was found inside the car. A substantial amount of blood, later confirmed to belong to Wanda, was discovered in the backseat. Her case remains unsolved.
