  1. I have read about the Wendy Eaton case over the years and it is so sad, this girl was so nice and just so wonderful and had a very bright future ahead of her, at the time of disappearance, she was just 15 years old. On May 17th 1975, she was walking into town to get her brother a gift. She departed her home on Moccasin Trail and made her way towards Indian lane, sadly this would be the last sighting of her as she was never seen again. For years her case went cold, the police interviewed everyone they could, but still their was no sign of her.

In 1976, 3 teens were arrested for extortion attempts as they were trying to get the Eaton family to pay them 10,000$ in exchange for information about Wendys disappearance, unfortunately the teens, they got caught in the hoax and were sent to jail.

In August 1983, Wendy Eaton was declared legally dead according to the Dailymail (2021). Soon after she was declared her mother Joan would pass away in 1995, she never stopped searching for her daughter. In 2007, her father Roland also passed away. In 2021, it was reported by various local news stations, that the case was now a homicide investigation as the police were searching the area that she was last seen after receiving significant information that she was likely murdered in that area. Sadly from what I can tell, nothing ever came out of their search, but it is still considered a homicide investigation. Gone but not forgotten Wendy Eaton.
