DiSilvestro was last seen on February 7, 2011, at a friend’s house in the 200 block of Ross Avenue in Hamilton, Ohio. His grandmother had dropped him off at the residence. At approximately 2:30 a.m., DiSilvestro made two phone calls—one to his mother and one to his grandmother—but neither answered, and he did not leave a message. The friend stated that DiSilvestro left the house after attempting to contact his mother and grandmother, possibly intending to get a ride. It is believed he may have been heading to his grandmother’s house, located about two miles away. The most direct route would have taken him through a forested area called Millikin Woods. However, he left his phone at the friend’s house and never arrived at his grandmother’s. At the time of his disappearance, DiSilvestro lived on McWhorter Drive. While he had occasionally gone missing for brief periods in the past, he had never disappeared for this long. Authorities have conducted several searches of Millikin Woods and nearby areas, but no trace of him has been found.
